Here's a fun, online game to help student's practice simple, CVC rhyming words.
To play this game, your student will need to know:
The sounds: b, d, e, f, g, l, m, o, p, r, t, w
How to blend and read a CVC word
What a "rhyme" is (word that ends with the same sounds).
This game is self-correcting. If the student drags the word to the wrong box, it will reset the word so the student can try again.
As with all reading activities, a competent reader supervising play will ensure the student is actually reading the words and not just dragging them randomly until they get the correct answer.
